I feel it’s about time for a more festive post, don't you?
I have been enormously excited about our Christmas tree this year! This is only the second Christmas we’ve spent in Lancaster and after having a minor disaster with a real tree last year, we decided to opt for an artificial one this time. Best decision ever! Come Christmas day, it will look just as pretty and green as it does now - there’s something about a dead, brown, bauble covered, twiggy thing that just doesn’t fill me with festive cheer!

I’ve been working on a few covert festive projects recently but finally, I can reveal one of them! A couple of months ago, my sister-in-law, Lorna asked me to make a crafty little something for my brother, Rob’s birthday. His birthday is on the 30th November and is always combined with Christmas decorating, so Lorna asked me to make some new, bigger stockings (for an even bigger kid) out of his old stocking, which we secretly fished out of a very hard to reach box on my last visit! The finished items are pretty huge so I there should be plenty of room for lots of goodies!
Now I must love you and leave you as it’s time to get back to more underground Christmas creativity! Huzzaah!
